TYPE STUDIES

experimental typography

Experimental studies in typography based on Raymond Queneau’s seminal 1947 essay, Exercises in Style. The story of a man simply boarding and leaving a bus was told from the perspective of a hat in the style of animism, the philosophy that all inanimate object have a soul. Most of these type studies revolve around the expression ideas of inanimate objects, or the informing of the living world by non-dormant inanimate objects.
